My name is Andrea Bambury and I am honored to be your child's 2nd grade teacher!

This is my 21st year teaching and my second year at TVCS..
I have two sons, Carter, who is in high school at TVCS, and Collin who is married and resides in South Dakota.
I am from Memphis, Tennessee, but I spent ten years (2015-2025) living in Denver, Colorado. I moved to FLorida in August 2025.

Important things to know:
Contact: Primary contact is through my email andrea.bambury@tvcs.org, but I am available for phone calls and conferences per request.
Agendas: Agendas will go home nightly and are to be returned to school the next day. Please check and sign agendas everyday. This is where parents can find important information daily regarding assignments and behavior. Please also share how your child will be going home daily. If there is a transportation change after your child has arrived to school, please contact the front office.
Folders: Go home daily and are to be returned back to school every day. Additionally, please remember to check the "return" and "keep home" pockets for any notices, school work, etc.
Snack/Water: Please send in a healthy snack and a water bottle with your child each day. The students have snack time daily. This snack needs to be sent separate from their lunch box.
Homework: Students will complete 10 minutes of reading each night, for a total of 40 minutes weekly. Math homework will be written in the student's agenda daily. (Also math homework will be sent home on an "as needed" basis.)
PI Options: Classroom Wishlist - This is not required but you can earn PI time with receipts sent in. I appreciate anything you are able to send in. Below is a list of items our classroom is currently in need of: COMING SOON!
