Curriculum

The district adopted curriculum has been identified as guaranteed and reliable curriculum. Through the use of the adopted core curriculum, all students in the district are provided equitable access to rigorous learning opportunities. 

TUVA instructional staff are required to use the governing-board adopted curriculum as our core and follow the district-suggested pacing guide to ensure our students are receiving standards-based grade level instruction. 

Our objective is to teach the highly leveraged and supporting standards to mastery each quarter, using formative assessments to evaluate student understanding, adjust and differentiate instruction accordingly.

• Follow the suggested pacing guides, and plan with the intention of covering all highly leveraged and supporting standards each quarter.

• Attend district professional development sessions, reach out to CSPs Kristin and Jenn as needed, and collaborate within PLCs to increase knowledge of curriculum and platforms.
