About the Instructional Technology Specialist
Theren Hayes is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Instructional Technology. He has been in education for 20+ years and 16 of those years were in elementary classrooms as a 3rd grade to 6th grade teacher.
Theren is a National Board Certified Teacher and has acquired several professional certifications, including Google Certified Educator Level 2, SchoolAI Certified Educator Level 1, Magic SchoolAI for Students Level 1, Hapara Champion Educator, Apple Teacher, and Seesaw Certified Educator.
Theren's immersion in a 1:1 teaching environment dates back to 2005, providing him with a wealth of experience in integrating technology hardware and software seamlessly into the educational landscape.He is proficient in utilizing technology as a tool to augment and optimize student learning.
