Use the Cell Wizard to Define Cell Type/Content
Use the Cell Wizard dialog to define a cell type/content for a selected cell.
Note: You can also select cell settings manually, but using the wizard is recommended because, without it, you might forget important settings.
Ways to access
Select a cell in a view and click the Cell Settings tab on the Object Properties toolbar. Then click the Cell Wizard icon.
Steps
Display a project in a time-distance Cell
Click a cell and select the Cell Settings tab in the Details Toolbar.
Enter a Name for the cell.
Start The Cell Wizard.
Select Cell type "Time Distance Cell" (OK).
Select the desired subprojects to display (OK).
Decide whether to keep or to reset the view ranges (visible range of your time-distance cell).
Display a project in a Gantt chart cell
click a cell and select the tab Cell Settings in the Details Toolbar.
Enter a Name for the cell.
Start The Cell Wizard.
Select Cell type "Gantt Chart Cell (Time)" or "Gantt Chart Cell (Distance)" (OK).
Select the desired subprojects to display (OK).
Note: If you wish to synchronize this cell area's view range with another cell: Select desired Time- or Distance Master Cell.
Display a chart or drawing in a time cell or distance cell:
click a cell and select the tab Cell settings in the Details Toolbar.
Enter a Name for the cell.
Start The Cell Wizard.
Select Cell type: Distance cell or Time cell - depending on the Content you like to display. (OK)
Decision: Display an existing cell content OR create a new cell content.
Display existing content:
Select the desired content from the pulldown list. (OK)
If you wish to synchronize this cell areas view range with another cell: Select desired Time- or Distance Master Cell (recommended)
Create new content:
If you want to create a chart, select the desired chart type. Change the Content Name (OK).
If you want to create an empty cell content (for sketches/drawings), do not check any chart type. Change the Content Name (OK).
If you wish to synchronize this cell areas view range with another cell: Select desired Time- or Distance Master Cell (recommended).

Define a cell as a dashboard cell
Select Dashboard for reporting Performance Values like Earned Quantity or Schedule Performance Index (SPI).
Select Dashboard (Allocations) for reporting Resource or cost Values

Options
Time master cell - In relation to a time/ distance cell the drop-down menu displays the existing time cells resp. provides the option to choose '<none>'. By changing the visible area for the time/ distance cell, the selected time cell will be updated automatically.
Distance master cell - In relation to a time/ distance cell the drop-down menu displays the existing time cells resp. provides the option to choose '<none>'. By changing the visible area for the time/ distance cell, the selected time cell will be updated automatically.
Name - Input field to set a new name for the selected cell.
