Virtual visits

Virtual visits - There are many ways to increase our incorporation of virtual visits in clinic. Here are some things you can do:

• Consider scheduling follow-ups as virtual visits when appropriate. These are appropriate for many follow up visit types.

• You can also convert an appropriate in office visit to a MyChart virtual visit through the "Appts" or Appointment Desk functionality. Choose the visit, click "Change Appointment" and then change the Visit type to MYC Virtual Visit.

• Use the smart phrase .BFMVIRTUAL to access a smart list with all virtual visit note selections. There are three options for residents and three for attendings. They are our standard virtual visit note template, a standard template with problem based charting, and a DAX based note template.
