OB/Gyn Ultrasound

Please see the following tips when placing US orders for scans being performed at UCHC Seton Women's Center.

This is the correct order to place for anatomy scans:

US OB Complete (301120)

When placing the order, please make sure all the fields are correct.

1. Ancillary Performed MUST be selected (w/auth does not work as the order can't be added onto US machine)

2. Must input a reason for exam (anatomy)

3. Allow the tech to change the protocol? Yes

4. notify me if overdue? No

5. Resulting agency: Radiant

If these fields are incorrect, it causes IT problems and a major delay in the time it takes for a physician to get the exam read and results to the patient.
