Upon completion of this course, students will be able to comprehend the fundamental theories of epistemology, the principal theoretical currents, and methods of sociological research. Students will also be able to identify the socio-historical context in which social philosophy is developed, and will identify various social languages as well as their historical and cultural origins.

Al finalizar el curso el alumno será capaz de:

• Comprender los fundamentos epistemológicos, las principales corrientes teóricas y los métodos de la investigación sociológica.

• Identificar el marco histórico-social en el que se desarrolla el pensamiento sociológico.

• Ubicar los diferentes lenguajes sociológicos al igual que su campo histórico y cultural de surgimiento.

At the end of the course, the student will be able to analyze, understand and evaluate in a critical way the Mexican political system, the constitutional elements of democracy, the rule of law and recognize the various forms of organization and the Mexican citizens' participation.

Al finalizar el curso el alumno será capaz de:

• Analizar, comprender y evaluar de forma critica el sistema político mexicano, los elementos constitutivos de la democracia, el Estado de derecho.

• Reconocer las distintas formas de organización y participación ciudadana en México.
