At the end of the course, students will be able to recognize different traditional manufacturing processes, select machines according to the characteristics, properties, and functionality of the parts to be manufactured. Students will also be able to specify tools and operating parameters for the manufacture of simple products, considering economic and environmental impact. Finally, they will also be able to select measuring methods and tools for ensuring the quality of the component.

Al finalizar el curso el alumno será capaz de conocer los diferentes procesos convencionales de fabricación, seleccionar las máquinas con base en los atributos geométricos, propiedades y funcionalidad de las piezas a fabricar, especificar los herramentales y parámetros de operación para la fabricación de productos sencillos, considerando el impacto económico y ambiental y seleccionar los métodos e instrumentos de medición para verificar la calidad de componentes mecánicos.

At the end of this course, the students will be able to comprehend the heat transfer mechanisms and apply the mathematical models which represent them in order to analyze various thermal systems.

Al finalizar este curso, el alumno comprenderá los mecanismos de transferencia de calor que existen y aplicará los modelos matemáticos que los representan para el análisis de diferentes sistemas térmicos.

Upon completion of this course, students will have acquired and developed the necessary skills and competencies to analyze, select, design and simulate the different components of a machine.

Al finalizar el curso el alumno adquirirá los conocimientos y desarrollará las habilidades y competencias necesarias para analizar, seleccionar, diseñar y simular los diferentes elementos que forman parte de una máquina.
