Political Science and International Relations

At the end of the course, the student will be able to analyze, understand and evaluate in a critical way the Mexican political system, the constitutional elements of democracy, the rule of law and recognize the various forms of organization and the Mexican citizens' participation.

Al finalizar el curso el alumno será capaz de:

• Analizar, comprender y evaluar de forma critica el sistema político mexicano, los elementos constitutivos de la democracia, el Estado de derecho.

• Reconocer las distintas formas de organización y participación ciudadana en México.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to perceive, analyze and interpret events, processes, and phenomena in the global political scenario from a specific geopolitical and geostrategic perspective. The course focuses in particular on the causes of international conflicts, their development, and possible solution. Students will also obtain clear, precise information on the distribution and exploitation of natural resources and their relationship with the use of force to take control of the areas that possess them.

Al finalizar este curso el alumno será capaz de:

• Analizar e interpretar los acontecimientos, procesos y fenómenos del escenario político mundial desde un enfoque particular geopolítico y geoestratégico.

• Analizar las causas de los conflictos internacionales, su desarrollo y las posibles soluciones.

• Comprender la dinámica en cuanto a la distribución y explotación de los recursos naturales y su relación con el uso de la fuerza para dominar las zonas que los poseen.
