Highlights:

1. Collaborated with Teacher Ash to produce the first ever dual language phonics module which was:

-parent friendly

-easily understood by parents and teachers

-focusing on sound with tongue and lips positions

2. Jom Baca Project was successfully carried out with 23 volunteers from all around Malaysia and 23 parents of SK Tebrau Bakar Batu, Johor Bahru via the collaboration with BOLD parents to create Jom Baca Project (under Edvolution Enterprise)

3. SPM leavers and housewives became trained teachers

4. The creation of Jom Baca Project Parent’s Diary (spotlight for parents in facebook page)

Challenges:

90 sign ups, but only 23 committed

• Jom Baca Project was done fully online in 2021 as no physical interactions were allowed during the pandemic.

• Some parents did not have gadgets/ internet connection.
