Each Thanksgiving Grace Welcome Center is grateful for the way that all of Kenosha helps us make this beautiful ministry possible.
Grace Welcome Center is stating that they are so grateful for Kenosha and that they were able to host Thanksgiving. This is important because of Kenosha they are able to make a beautiful place and host events.
Grace Welcome Center loves to see their guests every week when they come in and enjoy a breakfast meal with them and just have nice conversations about how they are doing.
Grace Welcome Center does not discourage anyone from coming into the center to get not only food but the items they are in need of. This is important because it shows Grace Welcome Center is open to everyone that needs more support and does not push anyone away.
Grace Welcome Center started off with one coffee pot and 6 guests. They have accelerated from that to now doing breakfast twice a week for about 45 minutes.
Grace Welcome Center showed that they were not afraid of what could happen; they just kept going day by day from a coffee pot to having breakfasts with their uptown community.
Grace Welcome Center has opened up a food pantry on Tuesdays from 4-5:30 where anyone can drive up to tell the volunteers if they are allergic to anything and how many people they have in their family. The people who do not have cars can also walk up to the front and get the food they need.
The Grace Welcome Center really cares about their community. They try to support the people and families in the ways they can.
Grace Welcome Center had people donate frozen turkeys to donate at the annual Thanksgiving basket give-away. They had people making sure there were all sorts of Thanksgiving day treats including pumpkin bars.
Not everyone has a nice Thanksgiving dinner with their families ,but Grace Welcome Center tries to give them a nice dinner for them and their family.
Mike Willkomm: He is the president & CEO of LinkedIn. Mike was a part of the Grace Welcome Center Thanksgiving because he helped move frozen turkeys to donate.
Geno Taliaferro: A volunteer at the Fellow Ship Baptist Church. Geno also volunteered to donate turkeys at the Thanksgiving giveaway.
