In a response to the homeless crisis, students hosted a concert to help raise money for the Grace Welcome Center.
This allowed the Grace Welcome Center to help more people with temporary shelter but also food for them.
This event majorly helped the Grace Welcome Center in its beginning years
The concert took place in the auditorium of Harborside Academy and student work was displayed in the gym.
This concert allowed the Grace Welcome Center to establish its Thursday and Friday breakfast and to keep it going weekly.
The 7th and 8th grades were the volunteers helping set up and takedown the area.
The Harborside students were willing to give their time outside of the school to help their community grow and help people that needed it.
The tickets were $10 in advance and $15 at the door and all of the proceeds went to the Grace Welcome Center to help better the Grace Welcome Center so that they can better the lives of our community.
Hosting this fun activity helped better the Grace Welcome Center. The proceeds from the event helped the community by allowing the Grace Welcome Center to have a bigger budget.
Doing this benefit concert helped the Grace Welcome Center get a kick start on serving the community.
Doing this concert really allowed the Grace Welcome Center to grow in helping people in the community.
