UNIT ONE-- READING AND SAT VOCABULARY
Students are taught why vocabulary words are important to a person's writing and speaking.
Various vocabulary words are introduced in the context of different types of paragraphs.
First, an opportunity is given for students to see if they can figure out the definitions of the vocabulary words as used in context.
Next, students are taught the definitions and given frequent quizzes to see if they can use the vocabulary words correctly.
