• Students are taught the definition of a homophone and are presented with multiple examples which demonstrate how frequently homophones occur in everyday usage.

•  Different pairs of homophones are illustrated, explained, and taught.

•  Students are given many opportunities to see the homophones used in context and to choose the correct choice.
