UNIT ONE-- READING AND SAT VOCABULARY

•  Students are taught how the choice of vocabulary words can enhance a person's writing and speaking.

•  Various vocabulary words are introduced in the context of different types of paragraphs.

•  Students are given an opportunity to figure out the definitions of the vocabulary words as used in context.

•  Students are taught the definitions and given frequent quizzes to see if they can use the vocabulary words correctly.
