This merry week is more exciting than ever, full of casual days and games! Some even count for Spirit Week points. We will be uploading the winners and the scores for each game right here, so make sure you check the website every day to make sure your class wins! Let's have a joyful holiday season bears!
Once again we are having the Candy Cane Sale. Make sure you click on me to buy online, or you can find us every morning and afternoon from November 29th to December 6th.
Set, Ready, GO! Throughout the week our TD Elf will be hidden around the school in a new location each day and if you find to make sure you take a selfie with it and post it on instagram using #TDMERRYWEEK.
(not for spirit week points)
On Monday make sure you come with your best holiday accessories. Wear anything like hats, glasses, socks, headband, and more alongside the school uniform!
One of our most exciting activities is Pin the Nose on Olaf. This game is based on a typical game where you have to put the tail on a donkey. In this game, one player from each grade will be blindfolded and will have to try to precisely put Olaf's nose where it belongs. Make sure you check the activity out on snack.
This thrilling activity resembles capture the flag but with one big difference. Participants will have to try stealing the Santa hat from their rivals and the last one standing will win. We hope you are as excited as we are to see this on lunch! See you all there.
On Tuesday make sure you come as your favorite holiday movie/show character. We want to see the Grinch, Elf, Santa, Rudolph and more. Can't wait to see your creativity!
For spirit-week points, students from each grade will have to start practicing and training for this one. Guessing the holiday song will be a challenge for sure and we will definitely sing along the tunes while the classes are guessing them! Make sure you go and support your class while also enjoying some holiday music in lunch.
That's right, this Wednesday it is the one day of the year that a sentence such as "the uglier, the merrier" is true. We want to see the ugliest of the ugliest-ugly sweaters. Let's all enjoy wearing ugly sweaters and try to find the ugliest of the bunch!
While this activity is NOT for spirit week points it is for sure one of the most fun ones. We will be able to enjoy some of our favorite holiday songs, yet they will be performed in an incredible karaoke lunch by our own TD students.
Also if you thought it couldn't get better than karaoke, wait until you hear this. BOMBA! That's right, students will be able to perform their own Bomba's holiday themed.
What better way to celebrate the holidays, than to embrace the island's culture? We want to see everyone wearing their best tropical outfits yet adding some holiday accessories to them!
In this activities each class will have their oportunity to demonstrate their artistic, stylistic and culinary skills by attempting to build the most creative, beautiful and holiday-season evoking gingerbread house.
To go along with the dress-up theme, what better way to embrace the tropical holidays than by enjoying some extra delicious virgin coquitos in snack & lunch!
Sadly, on Friday Merry Week ends but we saved best for last. PAJAMA DAY! We want to see everyone rocking their best, comfiest holiday pjs.
Once again, this is another culinary challenge, but we want to see your skills in decorating a cookie. Only the best of them all will win!
Be on the lookout because we will be ending this week with a big boom. That's right the most awaited activity will arrive because throughout Friday students will be able to receive their very awaited candy canes!
P.S. If you haven't bought them make sure you check out the sale in the mornings and afternoon next to the vending machines which will last until Dec 6.
