Community Service

This year we want to improve our Community Service since we identified last year, filling out our National Gold Council of Excellence Award application that it was our weakest area. Knowing that the National Student Council’s main mission is promoting service, we established a goal to aid nearby communities this year. 

We will be hosting monthly drives to collect reusable items from people in our family that can be shared with others who could find a better use for them. 

At the end of the year we will also be donating a part of our Student Council funds to help an underprivildged school finding resources for Back to School.

With the holidays around the corner, we were very excited to bring back our annual Toy Drive.

In this drive, grades compete throughout the week to see which grade can donate the most toys. Grades are given to a specific age group to ensure that all kids from all ages around the island get the toys they want. Whether that is a doll or a basketball, all toys are collected.

Our mission is to be able to bring some joy to the kids from different places such as Los Naranjos community, El Hospital Pediátrico, and Hogar Ruth among many others. Happy holidays!
