For our first community service event of the year, the executive board organized a successful blood drive. With over 60 volunteers participating, we were able to help save more than 200 lives. It was an incredible experience to see so many brave students donating blood for the first time and taking part in what marks just the beginning of our service-focused year.
Our first CEPRI (Puerto Rican Association of Student Councils) conference was a fantastic experience! Student leaders from across the island gathered at TASIS Dorado for an amazing opportunity to learn and bond. Hosted by one of our own, Tobias Luksemberg, the conference featured student-led seminars, keynote speakers, and community service activities that helped attendees reflect and grow as leaders.
The Executive Board decided that this year we wanted to do more for pink week. On Sunday, October 5 they decided to walk the Susan G. Komen 5k. It was an amazing experience, seeing so many people come together for the same cause. Pink week started off strong, with ribbons being passed out Monday morning lighting up the school with pink. Then Wednesday is the famous pink casual day, where students dress in pink to honor those affected by breast cancer.
Our traditional Field Day logo contest took place once again, inviting students to submit their designs for this year’s shirts. After receiving many amazing and creative submissions, the executive board narrowed it down and selected the winner: Kamilah Avilés from 6th grade!
Iron Bear was an absolute blast! Classes from 8th to 12th grade had their own canteens, selling a variety of snacks and drinks while bonding as a class. Meanwhile, the executive board, along with 6th and 7th graders, managed the Bear Cave and helped the event run smoothly. Overall, it was a fun-filled day and a huge success for everyone involved!
The Executive Board and class representatives participated at the school’s Open House, assisting in classrooms, giving tours, and speaking with prospective students and parents about our school community.
The first Pep Rally of the year was a huge success! Students enjoyed exciting games, energetic MCs, and tons of school spirit. It was a great way to kick off the tournament and celebrate our school pride.
As a part of our Holiday Celebration, the Student Council collaborated w/ different school organizations to create Raíces Navideñas. This activity which had games, food, and musical performances brought together our TD Community in the best time of the year!

As a part of our school's celebration of friendship and appreciation, we had our "Donuts With a Special Someone" event in which StuCo in collaboration with the TPA gave out donuts and coffee to our TD community!
This year, our student council participated in the LEAD Conference organized by the National Association of Student Councils. We met with student leaders from around the globe to share new ideas on how we can make our TASIS Dorado community even better!
