SOUL is a self-help application for young victims from domestic violence to heal from trauma. The app combines various functions, featuring self-defense tutorial, psychological counselling, and linking relevant associations and emergency connections to have aid made reachable.

During the lockdown - Movement Control Order (MCO), domestic violence cases increased in a short time due to various societal stress and issues. Some young victims are limited by their living conditions and or are threatened in the case of domestic violence - which may lead to traumatic mental and physical health, in which the team decided to address the issue and to propose solution through this project.

For this purpose, SOUL is an easier and safer way for victims to seek help, where the app guided users to contact the emergency line to seek instant help. SOUL team hopes to play apart in helping victims of domestic violence in voicing out, be brave to seek help, and to educate the public/bystanders to act upon and initiate help, to save life and to stop domestic violence.
