YOU^th x VATION

YOU^th x VATION Showcase 2021 is the culmination of 2^nd year Diploma in Graphic Design students from the Faculty of Communication and Creative Industries (FCCI), Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC). Amidst the pandemic, the 16^th cohort successfully put together a notable Final Year Project (FYP) production in the form of digital showcase through website and social media platform.

YOU^th x VATION is a collaboration of two project teams that comes together as the lead and committee representing 29 teams of 111 final year Diploma in Graphic Design students.

The idea of YOU^th x VATION derived from merged branding of two teams, where “YOU” + “-th” constitutes sequential phrase such like “sixteenth” cohort, when put together it creates the word “YOU^th”, meanwhile “-VATION” signifies innovation whereby the team coordinated the idea of virtual setting through website that connects the audience virtually to the showcase.

This showcase is the interpretation of today’s youth vision on sustainable development goals through creative graphic design solutions – presented through various categories of the 29 graphic design projects, featuring creative work from branding, commercial design, packaging, product design, photography, typography, user interface design, campaign, infographic design, arts and culture, publication and audio-visual animation.
