MatchSafe, is a mobile UI application (app) that protects users against dating scams. Although online dating sites and mobile apps have changed how people seek dating, the fact that dangerous people online still exist. Therefore, the goal was to design a mobile application aimed at warning against dating scam.

The original idea derived from a number of females who faced dating scams due to the problem of lack awareness as well as vulnerability in society because some may be ignorant of the danger of online dating scams - scammers are skilled in luring victims, resulting in casualties. The team aims at preventing dating scam cases by proposing ways of increasing surveillance toward offline date and or meet.

The design and purpose of Match Safe mobile app protects users by detect dating scams. This project aims at rising awareness of cybersecurity when meeting new connections through dating apps and or social media.

The team believes that the net is fluid, users interact online freely and may bump into danger, therefore this project helps users to equip themselves with adequate safety awareness to prevent risks.
