Ramada Langley/Surrey: 19225 BC-10, Surrey, BC V3S 2V7, Canada
Changerooms: NO, families must Wrap & Go
Protecting Hotel Contract: This hotel is very strict about the procedures. All coaches must ensure they are executing the proper procedures at this location as our hotel contract is compromised and the hotel staff are watching on the cameras.
Important: CE: Parents are NOT permitted to enter the Hotel (at all), as this compromises our hotel contract. Remember that the hotel contract is #1 priority over clients. Please click here to answer the following Clarifying Questions in the google form now and text us that it has been completed.
Pick up/drop off policy at the Clov-East school:
Introduce yourself to the front desk and say you work for Swim Fins and sign into the binder.
Parents will park at the back of the building.
Parents and kids will line up OUTSIDE the building (in bathing suits) at the locked back door that leads to the lobby and pool.
At lesson time, you will open the door and let the kids in, who should already be dressed in bathing suits.
No students can wear clothing into the pool, unless it is a rash shirt (feel their shirt and make sure it feels just like your own Swim Fins rash shirt).
No outside shoes on the pool deck (regardless of whether they’re sandals or crocs - if they were worn outside, they MUST come off before stepping onto the pool deck).
All students must shower before entering the pool.
No Swim Fins contractors or students are allowed in the hot tub.
The hotel is always watching on the cameras.
At the end of the lesson, bring your kids back to the door that you picked the kids up from to give feedback to their parents. Wrap and Go is still in effect.
You’ll also need to sign out in the binder at the front desk (at the end of your shift).
If there are 8 hotel guests or more using the pool during your lessons, the hotel GM has asked that you take your whole class out of the pool and do dry land until there are less than 8 guests in the pool. Despite the 8 hotel guest rule, each class must get wet (spend 3 minutes treading water in a corner). Our students cannot stay dry for the whole class. This procedure is very important to protect our hotel contract.
If lessons are doubling up (i.e. CW & CE lessons are happening at the same time): If the pool is too busy with hotel guests for both classes to be in the water (as long as it’s fewer than 8 hotel guests), please do dry land drills with one class and switch halfway through the class so both classes get equal time in the water.
The CE pool is cooler than other pools. Please do not contact us about the pool temperature unless it is below 75 degrees. Click here to read about how to run your classes if the water is feeling cool (below 85).
If you haven't already, please click here to fill out this quiz about our CE procedure so we know we’re on the same page.
