SUMMARY: Always text BOTH Clo's personal line AND the office line if you need to miss an upcoming shift, no matter how far in advance, or how short notice.
It is important to note if you need a shift covered to please send a GROUP text to both the business line and Clo’s personal phone (shift coverage will be approved for extreme sickness, emergencies, exams scheduled on your shift only). Also, please make sure you make all your shifts and take very good care of yourselves. If you have the flu or there is an emergency please TEXT the business line AND Clo’s personal line in a group text 24 hours before your shift notifying us so we have time to get someone 'on call' just in case you’re not able to make your next shift. Same day coverage is very hard/impossible and if 24 hour’s notice is not given you might be required to work your shift as we can’t cancel classes.
All communication about your shift coverage should be done on BOTH lines (so we’re all in the loop).
Please note you can text BOTH numbers anytime of the day or night (even if it's at 3am - it won’t wake anyone up).
Please update your phone contact for the office line and Clo’s to ‘Must Call in Sick to Both’.
We may still need you to go in for your shift that day while we keep looking for a sub who will take over from you.
Please tell us the moment you start to feel sick: Even if you don’t work for 3 more days and you think you’re going to be better in time, please tell us the moment you start feeling sick. The more warning we have, the better. Even if you think you’re going to be better by your shift, it’s always best to give the office as much notice as possible when you start feeling symptoms of being sick so we can get backup for you. We can always call your backup off if you feel better by the day of your shift, but this greatly reduces the stress for us in the office and for you as we’ll both have peace of mind that your shift will be covered.
