🌡️Water Test & Pool Temperature

Every day: Record the pool temperature, air temperature, and chemical levels in the water test binders. There are instructions inside the pool chemical testing kits on how to use them.

Pool Chemistry: No need to report if chemistry is off. All pools are maintained by professional companies and they will balance the chemistry at their next visit.

Pool Temperature: If the water temperature is 83 degrees or lower, follow the Cold Pool Procedure.

• ⚠️The Cloverdale East pool is always cooler than our other pools. Please follow the Clov-East Cold Pool Procedure if the pool temperature is under 75 degrees. 

• If the water temperature is reading above 83 degrees (or 75 degrees at Clov-East) on the temp gun, but you have a few shivering kids, or you don’t feel warm water coming from the jets, you do not need to reach out. The temp guns are accurate 99% of the time, and your shivering kids may just be getting sick.
