PMS color-matching, presscheck
Photoshop retouching, colormatching
Designed several page spreads, key typographical lock-up elements, retouching images, expressing the need for color matching clothing, directing final color color corrections on images, setting up the files for printing, and copy additions.

These are the specific spreads I worked on. The rest of the catalog was production work: retouching, typography, copy revisions, pre-press.
Designed layout, retouched wrinkles out of clothing, retouched out the photography equipment, explored icon design, composited the Trendsend box— it had not been printed yet.

Here are the brand assets provided by another creative designer, including specified colors, fonts, patterns and logos. The original color palette was not intended to use PMS colors, but rather CMYK. As the printing substrates were so different, the specification for CMYK had to change to PMS colors, to keep this 6-color job consistent. Color chips accompanying the package sent off to the printers on different continents, the specified colors were difficult to match across various substrates, including paper, cardboard, tissue paper, sticker paper, backlit acrylic, and metal.
Other complications included: Type bleeds on custom converted shopping bags. Printed words placed across folding score lines. High volume printing, at presses across the country and abroad. The retail fast fashion industry played a key role in how this rebrand was produced, and subsequently how long this rebrand stayed around. The current branding is now black printing on white background, and the 6-color branding was not brought to full fruition.
