The Original Assignment was to create somthing out of a single never ending line form. My line was based off of my looking at the face of a friend of mine. I was Immedietly Inspired by the concept of manipulation. My idea was to represent the feeling of losing who you are to manipulaiton from the people in your life, changing every little bit of yourself to fit the mold expected from you.
I started with a fairly random line in black ink. I saw the chance for a slightly distorted side profile, and I decided to take it. I then sketched the gears, wires, and circuit board, and filled the empty space with the black ink. I added color to the face, hair, and the purple fan im not quite sure what to call. I finished by adding some shadows and shading, then I was done.
