Time Capsules

The main idea that I used to guide my work was real life. I looked at myself in the mirror and drew what I saw, and then I looked at a corner and drew what I saw, and then I looked at a pencil sharpener and sort of drew what I saw.

I used pencil and paper. I don’t think I used any techniques even, it was just sketching.

I think the self portrait is good enough, but I’m not super happy with the others. Even though it was just a practice exercise with nothing behind it, I wish I had done more with shading. Someone said that my self portrait made me look like a gamer girl and I am pretty much terrified at how that’s pretty accurate even though I am neither girl nor gamer.
