Assemblage

I wanted to make a present for my dad, and I thought that maybe I could make a sculpture of his pet lizard, Shadrach. It was a fun idea in theory but I got the colors kinda off and he looks like a mummified frog.

I used paper machè for this project, but I think I used way more water than glue, because stuff was sliding everywhere. It was pretty fun though, the paper was nice to rip when it was all soggy.

The process was very different from other things I've done, it was much more physical and it was kinda tiring but I never got bored like I sometimes do with other projects. It was a lot of fun.
