Makers Mark

For this project, we were asked to create a "maker's mark" to mark our future clay creations.

I did this project at my house over the weekend, and it very chill to sit and work and make a little tube. I designed the symbol, which is just my initials "CW", on a sticky note, and then did a graphite transfer and carved around it. Originally my design had more sharp edges, but I changed my mind. I think my name is very soft, all the letters have no vertices, so I rounded it off.

I did accidentally do it backwards, which is frustrating, so I might redo it at some point.  I might not, it depends. I'm actually very confused as to how the graphite transfer mirrored the image.
