Onshape Tutorials Part 1
3D MODELING TUTORIALS
Going forward will use the Onshape.com platform to model your prototypes and to run virtual tests and simulations with it. Therefore is important that each student becomes proficient in using it. CAD software is one of the most important tools used by engineers of all fields.
Step 0 (you should have already done this in class before the break)
Sign into Onshape.com 3D modeling collaborative platform:
Create an education account going to https://www.onshape.com/ using your student Gmail account. Onshape.com is an online CAD software that works through the browser (no need to install anything and it works with Chromebooks)
Sign into https://cad.onshape.com/signin
Create a sphere following this tutorial https://youtu.be/qZODXZAd6ws (you should already have this!)
Share with your team (I am part of your team)

Step 1
Watch the following tutorials and practice using the tools explained in the videos. Create a new project for each video and name it the name of the tutorial, draw all shapes and models covered in the videos even if not explicitly requested. Share each project with your team. I will be able to monitor your individual progress.
