For our twinkle twinkle little light Arduino code we decided to make a code that contains a buzzer and a LCD screen. For the actual build we used the guide to help us build the buzzer part on the motherboard. After that we added all the wires and LCD screen to it. We had to move the potentiometer for the LCD screen since the buzzer didn't really need it. Once we got all the physical parts done we had to code the whole program. We plugged the code for the buzzer then we changed the notes from happy birthday to twinkle twinkle little star. We had to move the wires around a bit since one of them overlapped with another. At the end we just added text onto the screen to show the lyrics.
video proof
Circuit - A complete loop of conductive material from one side of a power source (positive) to another (negative)
Parallel Circuit - Circuit with branches each with separate paths for flow of charge/electrons
Circuit in Series - Circuit with a single path and multiple components one after another, all on the same path.
Current - The flow of charge/electricity through a circuit
Voltage - The potential energy difference from one side of a component to the other side
Resistance - The amount of which current is slowed or resisted through an obstacle
Power - The rate of transferring electrical energy through a circuit
Coulomb's Law - Force of attraction/repulsion between two static charges is proportional to the distance between them.
Electric Current to Magnetic Field - An electromagnet is a magnet that is powered by electricity. In order to create an electromagnet, we needed a ferromagnetic material core in the form of an iron nail. We used copper wire and wrapped it around the core. We then took a battery as our power source, which sent an electrical current through the coiled wire, and created a magnetic field.
Over the span of the project i felt like i didn't communicate enough with my partner. I felt like i could have pushed them to help a lot more. I could have pushed myself to but as usual i tend to go off task. I did feel good about how productive we are when we do work together and are on the same page. I took that role of the leader and really made sure we got everything done early so we can work on making the code better and better each day.
