On the first day of the project i was assigned to make a rough idea of what the Solar System looked like. I did my best but none of the planets were actually in the right place but i definitely had all the planets down. Our teacher then allowed us to make another model but we either had to make it to scale or the distance from the sun. I choose to make it too scale. after i made my model to scale, the whole class learned about orbital periods and equations to help us find different things for "planet X". Our teacher then gave us the option to choose a certain pattern in all the planets to research about for "planet X". I chose to do the pattern between orbital period and distance from the sun. After some research i started on my project. I did all the equations and data on how a planet farther from the sun has a longer orbital period then planets that are closer to the sun. I then made all of it into a slideshow.
Reflection:
I felt like i did very good on being focused on my work. Since i had no partner it was much easier for me to more focused and involved in the project. I also felt like my work was more on point. All the equations seemed correct and lined up with the answers. I had to work on everything alone which expanded my knowledge and everything i know now about intergalactic periods and things like that.
Some things i feel like i need to work on was my collaboration. Some how i needed be more talkative like im not already but i felt like i needed to ask more questions. At some points i tried to wing it on most things. I could have asked my teacher or my piers for help. I also felt like i need to be less of a procrastinator. I awlays had some reason not to do something. Overtime it went away but if it wasn't there at the beginning i would have finished so much more.
