For our project Me and three other teammates (Grace, Eryn, and Stan) were assigned to make a video about a sports physics. The team chose volleyball. Since Eryn had some experience it would be pretty easy. At the beginning we made our storyboard. The storyboard consisted of steps that we would put into the video. two days after coming up with the steps, we started filming. Unfortunately on the first day our ball was lost on top of the roof. So we had to use a soccer ball to take shots. Eventually we got a volleyball to finish the last shots. After it was just time for editing
CONTENT
Forces of Impact - forces generated when two objects come into contact (mv= Fimpact)
Horizontal Velocity - average speed on a flat surface with no outside forces (Vh= dh/ t)
Vertical Velocity - velocity of a falling object going up or down (Vv = ag tfall)
Conservation of momentum - momentum before a collision has to be equal to the momentum after a collision. (m1v1+m2v2 = m1v1+m2v2)
Reflection
I really enjoyed the making of the video with my group. I was aware that I delayed the project due to hitting our volleyball onto the roof. I was also off task during the whole project and when we were editing the video. During the project, I used my leadership skills to distribute the work. I also did well demonstrating how to pass the volleyball.
