For this project, we had two weeks to explain and show the physics behind kicking a field goal. For our first couple of days we made our blueprint and planned our step-by-step storyboard. When we finished our storyboard, we then brought in all our materials needed for our project. The materials needed were; camera, football, kicking-tee, and a football field with a field goal post. We then followed our storyboard from start to finish.
Our goal was to finish all of our filming in one day and we did that. We spent no time procrastinating and did all of our project filming in one day. We started by video taping our place-holder setting down our tee and our snapper, snapping the football to the place-holder. Then we filmed myself kicking the field goal from multiple angles. After completing all our filming it was now time to start editing. Our editing took about 5 days and during those 5 days we came up with many cool ideas to make our video better.
The last part of our project was to complete our voice overs for our video and our physics calculations. We worked on our calculations all together which made it much easier than if we did it independently. For our voice overs, we had to have on member in the group talk about the physics of kicking a field goal while another member video recorded. This process took about 3 days because we also had to add the voice overs to the video. It was an easy process adding our voice overs to the project. After that we had complete our physics of kicking a field goal video.
One thing that I did well during our project was having a positive attitude and accepting everyone's ideas. I also learned something about me and that is I am not shy nor scared of being video tape. For our next STEM project I will like to work on not wondering off as much and talking to other groups. Another thing I can work on is to add more ideas to my group and to talk more collectively and as a group.
Story Board- This was our blueprint fot the project. We followed our ideas step-by-step from start to finish.
