Rube Goldberg

My group symbolized that we would have three parts of our machine be Mexico, Italy, and France. We thought that we would be visiting the countries but we thought it would be fun if Mexico would conquer France. We also thought that "Mexico" would not down the Eiffel tower and have the Mexico flag getting raised up.

Rube Goldberg presentation

here are my some of my calculations As the car going threw the double loop it as the speed of 3 m/s. The weight of car is 0.035kg and in newtons its 0.34 Newtons A=V/T A=(3m/s-0)3 A= 9. And these are four energy transfer 1: Our first energy transfer occurs when a car rolls down and hits the button to launch another car. 2: Our second energy transfer is when the big car hits the marble, sending it through the tunnel. 3: Our third energy transfer occurs when the marble in France hits a domino starting a chain of dominoes. 4: Our fourth energy transfer occurs when a domino falls onto the lever in France knocking over the Eiffel tower.

Are simple machines are 1 Incline Plane 2 Vertical screw 3 Wheel and Axle 4 Pulley and 5 Lever

We have three elements to design

1 Movement People look in a certain direction to see an object and we tried to make it easy to follow the marbles/cars in our project.

2 Emphasis We have emphasis on certain parts of the machine that we feel are important by having objects move quicker, be louder, or be bigger. For example the car doing a double loop in Mexico or the flag being raised in France.

3 Unison Our machine has Unison because lots of things flow together and go naturally.

The concept is we (my group) decided it would be Mexico “marching” through all of them. When we were trying to figure out what the final action would be we thought it would be fun if we had Mexico (the starting country) conquer France. Since France has an Eiffel Tower in it we decided to symbolism Mexico conquering France by having the Eiffel tower knocked down and a Mexican flag being raised in its place.

Day 1: We finished the first blueprints

Day 2: We finalized the theme and modified our blueprints and steps

Day 3: We began constructing on the third day

Day 4: We continued constructing

Day 5: France was complete

Day 6: More constructing
