Chemical Dominoes

Description: What we did for this project was making a board game but with a twist of mixing chemicals to make a chemical reaction. First we had to brainstorm some ideas of what game it should be the style and what chemicals we should use for the project. Next we went into the maker space where we have all the tools and resources we needed for this project. The we started building our game for the first couple days once we finished with the game we painted it black with Green and yellow paint splatter. Once we finished with our project we had a chemistry game night to show the parents and the children of all age.

CONCEPTS

Chemical: A compound or substance that has been purified or prepared especially artificially

Chemical Reaction: a process that involves rearrangement of the molecular or ionic structure of a substance, as opposed to a change in physical form or a nuclear reaction.

Double Displacement reaction: A type of reaction in which two reactants exchange ions to form two new compounds.

Single Displacement: A reaction in which one element is substituted for another element in a compound.

Reflection: I think we do good overall in this project but two things I did good were working with some tools I haven't used before and the other thing was painting. Two things I feel like I could have done better was using my time better and not getting distracted on the little things
