Continue with outstanding assignments in Google Classroom. Do outstanding work in the order listed on February 1st-27th. If you are waiting on comments from me you should again read the instructions for the assignment and check that your post has everything it should have and that your post makes sense. Check that all grammar and spelling are correct. If a sentence contains more than one thought, it needs to be 2 sentences, not one.

Plan an addition or multiplication math facts game in Scratch similar to this one. Do not copy the code from this game! When these are complete, students in other grades will be trying them out so they should be made for younger students to use to practice their math facts which means you shouldn't be multiplying 2 or 3 digit numbers (concentrate on the times tables you learned in 3rd grade) or using large numbers in an addition game. Here are the requirements of your game:
Your game should have some kind of theme, similar to games in Sumdog, for example.
Use random numbers to set two variables to the numbers that should be added or multiplied and ask the user what their answer to the math question is. Make sure that your variables have meaningful names.
Check the answer to see if they answered correctly. You need to tell them whether they answered correctly or not in some way. This could be words or a sound, for example.
Want more of a challenge? Do one of more of the following BUT you must produce a working game with the above requirements before you try something that may take too long to achieve.
Ask how many questions should be given and do that number of questions.
Keep score.
Add a timer so the question is counted as wrong if they don't answer in a certain amount of time (don't make this too short - remember this is meant for younger students).
Allow player to pick type of math facts game and allow for both addition and multiplication.
Include subtraction and division as well. If you do this make sure that you can't get negative numbers and that the division gives a whole number only.
Your first step is to PLAN your game. Sign in to Google Classroom and complete Assignment 014. This needs to be detailed so that anyone reading your plan knows how your game will work.
When your plan is complete and turned in, got to the Scratch website, sign in, and work on your math game. You must have a simple working game before you can start adding any big optional items. See me when your working game is done before you start adding your optional items!
