Not done with research or storyboard? Sign in to Google Classroom and:
Work on assignment 009 - Mission Research (see details under February 10th). Make sure that you turn in this assignment when you are done!
If you have finished your research, downloaded pictures for your scenes in Scratch (if you are not going to draw pictures), and created your Works Cited page, work on assignment 010 - Scratch Storyboard. Make sure that you turn this in when you are done.
Done with assignments 009 & 010? Make sure you have your Scratch Storyboard open so you can see what backgrounds & sprites you will need.
If you have downloaded images that you have not resized:
Open your 4th-YourFirstName-Name of Your Mission project OR If you have not created one, create a project and name it 4th-YourFirstName-Name of Your Mission
Add your downloaded images for backdrops or draw your backdrops. Watch the Add Backdrops video for how to do this.
NOTE: If you will be using the same image multiple times, it should be uploaded (or copied if a drawn image) to multiple backdrops and each needs a unique name.
Add or draw the sprites you will use.
NOTE: You can only use the sprites from the 4th-Mission-Sprites project if you have credited these in your bibliography!
Work on your Scratch Project and remember, a sprite should not say more than 2-3 sentences in one Say block and use the Say for seconds block not just the Say block. Here are some tutorials that might help:
Watch Using Multiple Backdrops video and set up your When Green Flag script and When Backdrop Switches To scripts - Everyone will have these in their projects since you have multiple backdrops.
If you are going to have multiple sprites having conversations, the Conversations video may help you to organize these.
