Sign in to Google Classroom and complete and turn in the following (IN ORDER):
Complete lessons in Typing.com - Make sure to SIGN IN!
Work on Scratch All About Me project. See an example here. This project should be named All About YourFirstName and must have the following elements:
A person sprite that represents you. Try to find a sprite that looks similar to you and recolor it to match you more closely or draw your own sprite.
A background that represents something about you.
At least 5 other sprites that represent you in some way. You can have more but must have at least 5.
Your person sprite should introduce you, explain why you have the background you do, give at least one fact about you, and tell the person running your program to click the other sprites to learn more about you. This should be more than one Say block.
Each of the other sprites should make a sound or move in some way that is appropriate to the sprite (for example, a dog might bark, a piano might play part of a song, a ball might bounce, etc.) and give a fact about you when the person running the program clicks on it. Hide each sprite when it is done.
Check if all sprites are hidden and then have your person sprite say thank you and good-bye or something like that. Watch this tutorial on how to do this.
Make sure you run your whole project when you think you are done and that the things your sprites say are on the screen long enough for people to read; not just for you to read but for someone who doesn't know what it's going to say to read. Remember, Scratch does not spell check or check grammar but what your sprites say should be full sentences and words should be spelled correctly. No say block should have more than 1-2 sentences in it. Use multiple say blocks if you have more to say.
When done, share your project and add it to the Class of 2021 studio.
