March 28th:

    • One character moves when you tap the arrow keys on the screen
    • When the character that moves bumps the other character they hide, move somewhere while they are hidden, wait a bit, and then reappear
    • Done? Can you do one of the following:
      • Make your character that disappears move all the time so they are harder to catch. They still need to do what they did before.
      • Add an "enemy" that appears and hides over and over. If your character that moves bump the enemy they disappear not the enemy. Hint: The enemy will need to send a message (a different color than the arrow keys) when it is bumped and the character that moves needs to receive it and hide.

March 21st & 26th:

  • ScratchJr:
    • Complete earlier challenges, if not done
    • Where Did You Go?: Add 2 characters. Have one character bump into the other and when it does the second character disappears.
      • How do you make a character disappear?
      • How does a character know it has been bumped into?
    • Where Did You Go Game? Extend the Where Did You Go project to have:
      • 2nd character move and reappear somewhere else after a bit of a wait.
        • What code block can I use to do the wait?
      • 1st character should move by clicking on arrow keys on the screen so the player of the game controls how it moves

March 12th - 19th:

    • Take a Walk: Make your character move 1/2 way across the screen, pause, move the rest of the way across the screen, pause, and go back to the beginning

    • Being Polite: Make the cat move and bump into another character and then say "Excuse, me"

    • Beyond Being Polite: Make the cat move, bump into another character, say "Excuse me" and move away from the other character. Then have the other character say something like "Sorry" or "It's okay." or "No problem."
      • How do I control when a character speaks

February 28th & March 5th:

  • Finish your feeling drawing in Tux Paint. Remember, the entire picture should be in the color you were feeling.
  • Done? Take a screenshot of your picture, crop it to remove things that aren't your picture and save to Camera Roll
  • Add your Colored Days picture to Seesaw with a caption that completes this sentence - On my ____ days I feel ____ Then read your sentence so you have both the caption and yourself saying the caption.
