In recent years, the importance of mindfulness practice has been increasingly included in conversation. Certain areas of focus, such as work-life balance have experienced significant changes, yet mindfulness techniques are not yet integrated into everyday life for the average individual. When applying a strategy of including mindfulness, there are cultural considerations just as are there considerations required for various age groups. This presentation shows the process and results of adapting leadership development curriculum to include mindfulness practices, while including age, gender, and cultural considerations for Latina youth who identify as female.
