Advice Stirling offers free, confidential and impartial money, debt and benefit advice to citizens within the Stirling area. 

They can support young people and their families to manage their finances. 

Trained advisers can also help you prepare for and provide representation at welfare benefit appeal hearings.

The Trust is a registered charity and exists to give grants for educational purposes to either individuals or organisations from the area of the County of Stirling. 

Grants of up to £750 to care experienced young people aged 16 - 26 across the country. 

The Aspirational Awards scheme is a young people-led individual grants fund aiming to empower young people with care experience aged 21-26 to think big about their future and transform their lives with a grant to help them reach their best potential. 

The Virtual Head Team Flexible Fund is available to all children and young people who have experienced care up to the age of 26 years.

The Flexible Fund has closed for this year (June 2024). We hope to re-open the fund in school session 2024/25.

Disabled Student’s Allowance is the Government funding given to disabled students in the UK to pay for specialist equipment/support that may be required as a reasonable adjustment. 

In Scotland this is delivered through SAAS

ILF Scotland Transition Fund provides money, for up to one year, to support young people living with disabilities (as defined in the Equality Act 2010) to improve their lives. This includes autism, learning difficulty, physical disability, mental health (e.g. anxiety or depression) or hearing or visual impairments. 

ILF discretionary also funding enables individuals to pay for care so that they can be supported in their homes and within their local communities.

Aberlour Urgent Assistance Fund 


Aberlour’s Urgent Assistance Fund can provide immediate relief to families with children (aged 21 and under) who are suffering extreme hardship. Families who are struggling to provide food, heating and clothing for their children.
