About Stirling's Virtual Head Team
The Virtual Head Team (VHT) act as local authority champions to bring about improvements for our Care Experienced children and young people.
Our aim is to ensure all of our children and young people can learn, achieve and flourish.

What we do
Listen to children and young people to help us improve local services for children who have experience of care
Contribute to national networks and bodies to influence policy and practice
Track and monitor the progress all of Stirling's Looked after children and young people including children who live outside of Stirling local authority and those who have come to live here from elsewhere
Work with children and young people to promote individual achievement, health and wellbeing
Provide advice, support and training to professionals, schools, carers and partners
Support other services to young people including Stirling Champions Board and local partners
Remove barriers to accessing specialist services, including health, social care, education and employment
Provide access to professional consultation and advice on education, training and employment
Promote wellbeing and connection to local communities including mentoring, volunteering, leisure and social activities
