Final checklist for course copy
✔ Update all due dates, class meeting dates, etc. in your course site.
✔ Delete all old or expired announcements by pressing the down arrow next to its name and selecting "Delete."
✔ Add your welcome announcement and schedule a day to post; we recommenced around 1 week before the course starts.
✔ Test all hyperlinks to make sure they connect.
✔ Check visibility of answer keys, exams, and other materials to ensure students see only what you want them to see.
✔ Go through the site using Student View by selecting your name in the upper right corner and choosing “View as Student.”
Pro Tip
Set up the dates for your new course
After you've made your course copy, quickly set new dates on copied course items with the Manage Dates tool. Here you can update the dates associated with anything in your course site from one place.
