"Solving Lack Of Energy"
by Pedro G.
Dear Year 7 Student,
I am a Year 9 student and, in the past weeks, I have been suffering from lack of energy. Every day I try to sleep early but it seems like I am always up until 23:00. I am very exhausted and unmotivated because of that. I would love it if you could give me some tips regarding this issue.
This problem is affecting everything I do. At school, I am having lower performance in projects and exams. At home, I am failing to remember where I put my stuff and to do my homework. At the gym and the sports I practice, I am never getting a good workout and am always unmotivated to do anything. However, when it is time to rest and I go to bed, I spend hours and hours looking at the ceiling just waiting for the will to sleep. I really need help this year, since I need good grades to pass in a good high school.
I would really appreciate it if you could help me the best way possible.
Best regards,
Year 9 student
Dear Y9 student,
I have noticed that you are suffering from a lack of energy. I understand that you don’t have energy for the rest of the day, so my main suggestion for you is not to use your phone when you get to sleep, relax your mind and do exercises. Have you tried more discipline? You can search for more discipline that helps and give an extra force to do activities that can solve your problem of lack of energy.
I think your problem is actually caused by staying up until 23:00. If you don’t sleep, you don’t have energy. I suggest not using your phone 1 hour before getting in bed because phones affect sleep by emitting blue light that suppresses melatonin, the hormone that regulates sleep, according to health 360. You could try to replace the phone for other activities that you like.
Your second problem is caused by a lack of energy and lower performance in school activities. My advice for you is to do activities to relax your mind, as said by progressive relax, your mind improves on overall productivity, you can relax your mind by deep breathing, meditation and Incorporate breaks throughout the day to give your brain a chance to reset If you relax your mind, you will have much more energy.
Reading your text more I saw your third problem. You are unmotivated and exhausted. My tip for you is to do regular exercise at the park or other open places, walks, and physical activities that you like that you can exercise and have fun I really think that is the most fun way to some this problem, that can help you because, according to the NHS, regular exercise will make you feel less tired and more motivated, helping you a lot in your problem, If you had fun, you would acquire your objectivity .
To conclude I hope all my advice helped you solve your problem in an easy way but if my advice doesn't work, I suggest you speak with a doctor, specialist in the area and your family. If you follow this step by step, you will solve your problem.
Sincerely,
Y7 - Pedro Gianesi
