A Message from Administration
Making the Most of Conferences
Attending conferences is an important part of letting your child know education is important to you. With conferences beginning next Monday, October 9, below are a few things you can do to help create an even more beneficial conference.
Talk with your child before conferences about any concerns or questions. Ask what they would like you to talk about and what they think the teacher will say.
Check your child’s grades on Sycamore.
Think about questions you would like to ask and write them down. Some suggestions might be homework expectations, work habits, social skills, and home support.
If you haven’t done so already, share items you want the teacher to know about your child such as outside interests, medical concerns, or special needs.
Keep an open mind -- remember both you and the teacher want your child to succeed.
After conferences, talk with your child about what was discussed. Emphasize the positive and discuss a plan to make needed changes.
Keep in touch with your child’s teacher. Please don’t wait for a “conference day” to discuss any concerns you might have.

Tuesday, 10/24 at 7:50 AM ⧫ 5th-8th grade parents with Ms. Kane
Coffee & Conversations is back by popular demand! Join our school counselors after morning carpool for an informal gathering to talk about youth mental health, support available to your child at St. Albert, and stay connected to school staff and fellow parents. We will be meeting in the Sacred Heart Center (small house located across from the cafeteria & parking lot).
We ask that parents RSVP AND fill out a quick anonymous survey using the links below. Even if you cannot attend a session, we would still appreciate you filling out the survey.
To encourage discussion and engagement in a small group setting, we are only taking 22 parents per session. We kindly ask that only one parent per family sign up and to only sign up for one session. Coffee will be provided. This is a parents only event.

2024-2025 Tuition Assistance
Now is the time to start thinking about tuition assistance for the 2024-2025 school year. The application process consists of completing the FACTS application and submitting supporting documentation.
The tuition assistance application will be available at www.ceflou.org on October 15, 2023. Parents/guardians will need their 2022 federal tax return and 2022 W-2’s; (additional documents may be requested if they have additional income).
Deadline to complete the application and provide all documentation is November 30, 2023 for consideration in the initial round of funding. The 2024-2025 application fee is $35.
Financial assistance is available for students entering kindergarten through eighth grade, both parishioner and non-parishioner families.
FACTS Management is an independent, third-party service that provides reasonable assessments of the ability of families to pay tuition at private and parochial schools.
