A Message from Administration
Dear Saint Albert the Great Families,
As we enter the month of November, it is time to reflect on the blessings in our lives and express gratitude for the grace that surrounds us. We are thankful for the opportunity to educate and nurture your children and for the support and involvement of our wonderful school community. We will be celebrating Thanksgiving all month with various activities. Each grade will focus on being grateful for the abundance of blessings in our lives.
Veterans Day In the spirit of gratitude, we will be celebrating and honoring our nation's heroes at mass. Please invite family members and neighbors to our celebration on Thursday, November 9th at 9:25. The 8th grade will be honoring our nation’s veterans through two service projects; their goal is to raise funds to send a Saint Albert the Great veteran to Washington DC with Honor Flight to visit their memorial.
Food Drive In the spirit of giving, our school will be participating in our parish’s Thanksgiving food drive to support families in need. Each grade has been assigned a needed food item. Donations will be assembled to create complete Thanksgiving Meal Baskets for Eastern Area Community Ministries to distribute to families in need. We kindly ask for your contributions of non-perishable food items. Bring your donations to the school office November 6-10th. Please give generously. Your child is welcome to bring in multiple items! Donations should be sent to homerooms for collection. Let's come together to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

Compromised Facebook Accounts
We have had an uptick in spammers on our various Facebook pages & groups recently. Some activity is nearly impossible to prevent on our public pages, but we know several parents have recently had accounts that were hacked which can affect our private groups.
If your Facebook account has been hacked and you still have access to it, please remove yourself immediately from ALL St. Albert affiliated pages and groups. This includes, but not limited to, St. Albert Parents & Family, class specific groups, SAAM, St. Albert Mama Swap, Sprouts, etc. If you do not have access to your account, please contact Janelle Richardson at jrichardson@stalbert.org so she can remove you. Once your account has been recovered or a new account has been set up, you can request to be added back into all the groups. We work hard to keep our Facebook pages and groups as safe and secure as possible for our current school families. Thank you for your cooperation.
You can also add our digital school calendar to your phone so you have the latest school dates at your fingertips. To add our Google Calendar, click HERE and then select the +Google Calendar in the bottom right corner.
