Load Approved OS - 10-16-10.00-QG-U138-STD-HEL-04
1. Load HE_FULL_UPDATE_10-16-10.00-QG-U00-STD-HEL-04 and HE_DELTA_UPDATE_10-16-10.00-QG-U138-STD-HEL-04 to an SD card
2. Insert the SD card into the device
3. Power on Device in Recovery Mode by pressing the Power button and pressing and holding the PTT until the Zebra splash screen appears
4. On the Recovery Mode screen, select Downgrade from SD card and select HE_FULL_UPDATE_10-16-10.00-QG-U00-STD-HEL-04 to downgrade to A10 from A11
5. Once completed, press and hold the Power button to select Restart
6. Press and hold the PPT button again until the Zebra splash screen appears to enter Recovery Mode
7. On the Recovery Mode screen, select Upgrade from SD card and select HE_DELTA_UPDATE_10-16-10.00-QG-U138-STD-HEL-04 to load the latest A10 patch
8. Reboot the device again and go back to Recovery Mode to confirm the latest patch is now on the device
Staging
1. From the “Hi There” screen, scan the first of three StageNow barcodes from the Staging Barcodes section below
2. StageNow will open and await the other two barcodes to be scanned.
3. Scan barcode two and three from the Staging Barcodes section below.
4. Staging is in progress will appear
5. Once Complete, the Enterprise Home Screen will appear with 3 applications: Calculator, DataWedge, and NScan.
6. Select Nscan
7. Select Tools → ADMIN SETTINGS
8. Enter password → nscan
9. Select they System tab
10. Select and remove the current URL shown under NScan Service URL
11. Scan the LAST barcode below to enter the new NScan Service URL: (https://RUTHEHUSFL0nscanprod.tnhs.cloud/nscanservice/)
12. Find the Scanner option and select Scanner
13. Select back until the Enterprise Home Screen appears
14. Staging is complete
QA
1. Power on device
2. Once loaded, the Enterprise Home Screen will appear. Confirm 3 applications are displayed: Calculator, DataWedge, Nscan
3. Confirm that the Notification Pull-down is disabled
4. Select the 3 vertical dots at the top right
5. Select Tools → Admin Login
6. Enter Admin password: nscan and click ok on the next message
7. Select the home button and ensure the Settings app is available
8. Select the 3 vertical dots at the top right
9. Select Tools → Admin Logout to be take back to the Enterprise Home Screen
10. Select DataWedge
11. Confirm that Profile0 (default) and NScanProfile are enabled
12. Confirm that Launcher and DWDemo are disabled
13. Go back to the home screen
14. Select Nscan
15. Select Tools
16. Select ADMIN SETTINGS
17. Enter the admin password: nscan
18. Select the SYSTEM tab
19. Confirm that the correct URL is entered for NScan Service URL: https://RUTHEHUSFL0nscanprod.tnhs.cloud/nscanservice/
20. Confirm that Scanner is selected for the Scanner option
21. Go back to Enterprise Home Screen
22. Power off the device
23. QA complete
