Where Do Pants Go?

Welcome to Week 8: Where Do Pants Go?

Please complete the following activities with your child. These activities can be completed throughout the week at your own pace.

Activity 2: Where do they go?

Expressive Language: Using the pictures of the sentences below and answer each question. Have your child name where they go, point to the body part on themselves or point to a picture.

Extension Activity: Use real clothing around your house and ask your child where it goes.

Extension Activity-more difficult: Have your child find things in your home that you wear versus things you eat. Talk about if it is something you wear or something you eat. Discuss ways items are the same and different. For example, my shirt is red and the apple is red, but I wear a shirt and eat an apple.

Extension Activity-easier: Have your child practice saying "no" along with the book. Using real items put clothing on funny places and have your child practice saying "no" when you ask where the items goes. For example, "Does the hat go on my foot?"
