Please complete the following activities with your child. These activities can be completed throughout the week at your own pace.

You can listen to this story several times throughout the week.
Expressive Language: Using the pictures of the food below, ask your child to name each item the caterpillar ate. Use the carrier phrase, "He ate ________". If your child has difficulty saying the whole sentence, you can say it for them first and see if they will repeat it (ie: He ate strawberries). If they don't repeat it, it's okay.
Receptive Language: Name each item of clothing and ask your child to touch the picture (ie: "Touch apple"). If they don't touch it, gently move their hand to touch the picture.
Extension Activity: See if your child can expand the sentence by describing the food or by saying how many he ate.
